I think your comment on Kroger prices being high just doesn't hold everywhere. For example where I grew up in the state of Georgia, Kroger had great prices. You also accrue points that reduce your cost of gas SIGNIFICANTLY just by shopping there. Trader Joe's isn't as common so it's seen as more of a specialty store (even though some of their stuff is well priced) and Kroger is definitely cheaper than Publix (the other major chain here). So I think your comment is really location-dependent.

I think you oddly split women into those that stay home because they HAVE to (financially ) and then the rest that want to be with their children are these crazy trad wives. Some women really want to stay home with their kids (and not work) and have normal loving marraiges.

Ya concrete houses suck where you have winters and summers. The reason concrete driveways crack is because of the changing temperature. Its expands and contracts. imagine driveway type cracks on your house. Good luck and have fun dealing with that. Also concrete is more likely to develop mold when wet. Oh and concrete is less resistant to earthquakes.

Being just a housewife or stay at home mother is literally the most stupid thing any educated woman can do. I am not saying this because I despise mothers or women who do not work in a monetarily compensated job, it is out of concern for them, their future, sanity and most importantly financial independence in the present and in their retirement. I don’t know how it works in the US, but in Germany you collect retirement points while you work, depending on how many hours and years and to an extend on how much you earn. Housewives/moms are compensated for their work at home but not nearly close to the extend they would be if they had worked for the majority of their adulthood. It’s basically treated like working a minimum wage job your entire life. If they stay married and their spouse isn’t some greedy controlling psycho but someone who cherishes their wife’s achievements at home and treats them as an equal, their retirement will be fine. But reality is, at least in Germany, that most people get divorced and women are often on the short end and have to make do with the bare minimum in their retirement. This should totally negate the argument of “financially it makes sense“. Maybe now for your husband or whoever stays home but not for you later. Staying at home for longer periods of time or their entire lives basically shackles women to their spouses and makes them so dependent on them that they cannot or have a hard time leaving if necessary. This might be a sinister way to look at life and I guess no one thinks about the possibility of divorce when they get married and have children, but sadly that’s the hard reality we live in. Even as a teenager I swore myself to never put myself in a situation like that. Yes I will stay home for my children for maybe the first two years of their lives, but not any longer. After that we both will be working the same or similar hours I know that’s not an option for everyone with US education not being so accessible like in Germany or Europe. But here it mostly is, so to not take advantage of that is not that smart.

It’s obvious many women only have kids when they depend on a man, which means it’s men who want kids more than women do.

I feel like this advice literally only applies to people who make UA-cam videos not people with real jobs. Also, make sure you divide your paper equity in half if you have a partner / co -owner in that airbnb and don't forget to account for capital gains taxes if you do sell. Are you still a millionaire after taking those things into consideration?

One thing I have always noticed American homes have no foundation, literally a storm can easily remove/uproot a average American home. A home have to be rooted in the ground (need deeper foundations) similar to trees plus you Americans don’t really tie in your foundations with the house
